At Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative, I completed a Google Summer of Code project by replacing two separately maintained native apps with a single React Native application for Android and iOS.
I built the client from scratch, including navigation, high-resolution image handling, search, sharing, and offline support. I also extended the CakePHP and MariaDB backend with REST endpoints and optimized existing queries the app depends on.
Across CDLI, CCExtractor, JSON Schema, AOSSIE, and Apicurio Registry, I contributed 63 merged pull requests. My work included dashboard reports and feature development for ccsync, test suites written with Jest and React Testing Library, and multi-architecture Docker image builds in CI.
My projects include a search typeahead service using a Trie and consistent hashing, a multithreaded HTTP server built with Python’s standard library, and an auction database schema with a Java reporting CLI.
