At SANRAL, I support more than 80 mission-critical physical servers and over 15PB of storage across multiple data centres, maintaining availability, backup and restore operations, disaster recovery readiness, and service continuity.
Previously at KTC-ZA, I provisioned and replicated storage across HPE 3PAR, MSA, and Pure Storage environments, coordinated annual DR testing, managed capacity and lifecycle activities, and worked with InfoSec to remediate vulnerabilities. I also engage vendors, manage SLAs, participate in change governance, and maintain infrastructure documentation.
At Electronic Toll Collection, I led P1/P2 incident response in a 24x7 environment, chaired technical war rooms, communicated with executives, and supervised teams of 15–20 engineers. Across more than 18 years in ICT, I’ve supported enterprise infrastructure, application operations, root-cause analysis, continual service improvement, and server upgrade projects spanning 150+ virtual and physical servers.
