I am a data journalist with formal training in media, communication, new media and journalism, and additional studies in child development and education. I combine reporting experience with data skills to produce evidence-based stories and visualizations.
I have monitored hate crime in the media for Hrant Dink Foundation and worked in journalism and data journalism roles at Medyascope TV, while holding membership in the Veri Okuryazarlığı Derneği (VOYD) since 2019. I have received recognition including a second prize in the Internet Broadcasting Category at the Young Communicators Competition.
My toolkit includes MS Office, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Canva, Flourish Studio, Tabula and Datawrapper; I am fluent in Turkish, a native German speaker, and have intermediate English. I seek roles that leverage data literacy, multimedia production and social-impact reporting.
