I've designed, assembled, aligned, and optimized Fabry–Pérot microcavity and confocal microscopy setups at Ulm University's Institute for Quantum Optics, supporting cryogenic single-photon spectroscopy.
My PhD work combines photonics, precision spectroscopy, lasers, interferometry, fiber-optic excitation and detection, and single-photon source characterization. I build Python-based test automation pipelines, analyze experimental data, and systematically troubleshoot performance limitations.
I'm seeking to apply my hands-on quantum-optics experience to develop and characterize photonic systems for space applications. I also bring experience supervising undergraduate researchers, coordinating laboratory procurement through SAP Fiori, and developing C and LabVIEW test systems for X-ray interferometry.
