At Los Alamos National Laboratory, I operated vacuum ultra-violet spectrometer diagnostics to identify elevated ion charge states and estimate plasma temperature. I also contributed to research on magneto-inertial fusion physics.
For my master’s thesis, I’m studying fast-ion losses and pellet injection dynamics in TJ-II plasmas, using FILD diagnostics and an upgraded fast camera.
At Houghton University, I planned and conducted experiments on beta-particle detection and developed Python code to automate experimental sequencing and data acquisition. I also analyzed results using ROOT.
As a Physics Lab Teaching Assistant at Houghton University, I graded lab reports and gave students written feedback on experimental design, reasoning, and documentation.
