Sarah Sameh

I’m a motivated software engineer with practical experience building web and desktop applications using Java and Spring Boot. My focus is on building scalable, efficient systems that support impactful, real-world applications.

I’ve trained through Enterprise Web Development (EWD) with a strong Java foundation, and I’m currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering. I enjoy turning core engineering concepts—like OOP, data structures & algorithms, microservices, and multithreading—into maintainable software.

In my projects, I implemented security-focused functionality for a “Secure Software Download” graduation project using MACsec via Ethernet, including cryptodriver layers and robust state machine handling. I also built an eCommerce web project with cart and order management, and a Java chat application with RMI-based messaging, database integration, and real-time notifications.

Beyond that, I developed an XML-to-JSON converter in Java without third-party libraries and a CPU scheduling tool that compares waiting/turnaround/response times while generating Gantt charts. I bring an eager-to-learn mindset, strong communication, and teamwork, and I’m excited to contribute to meaningful products.
