I’m a chemical engineer and Product Development Engineer specializing in flexible packaging, with deep focus on blown film extrusion (mono and trilayer). I build and improve formulas, validate raw materials, and translate technical requirements into stable production outcomes.

Over my 4+ years in the industry, I’ve delivered over $208K USD in documented annual savings by optimizing formulas, substituting raw materials, and reducing waste. In my current role, I drove $75K USD in annual savings through formula changes while maintaining full quality and productivity standards.

I also bring strong quality-system discipline, working with ISO 9001 quality systems and using Six Sigma methodology to prevent recurrence. I’ve led internal ISO 9001:2015 audits, performed root cause analysis for recurring defects, and managed CAPA actions to close critical quality issues.

Technically, I troubleshoot mono and trilayer blown film extruders to minimize downtime and defects, manage raw material and finished product specifications, and assess feasibility for new product development requests. I’m motivated by cross-functional problem-solving across Ecuador and Colombia and by continuous improvement that’s measurable, actionable, and quality-first.
