Diana Vélez

I am a Biotechnology Engineer passionate about translating scientific knowledge into sustainable, market-ready bioproducts. I founded and run a bio-based products venture, Eudamora, where I formulate and produce soy candles and artisanal soaps with attention to raw material selection, safety, and process optimization.

My academic background covers molecular biology, microbiology, chemistry, and quality control, and I earned a Biotechnology Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana del Ecuador. I received an Academic Excellence Intern Scholarship and served as a Career Board Member during an internship at Madres Conceptas de la Ciudad de Cuenca.

In my freelance and founder roles I performed production assistance and quality control for natural products such as nettle and rosemary shampoo, intimate wash, and capillary tonics, developing practical skills in decision making, problem solving, and process improvement. I offer scientific and technical translation (EN-ES) for articles, datasheets, manuals, and academic content, at an Advanced English (C1) level.

I am seeking opportunities that combine science, sustainability, and creativity—particularly roles in bioproduct development, research, quality, or technical communication—where I can apply hands-on formulation experience and robust scientific training.
