What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my seismology and Python/data science training to real geoscience challenges, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and keep learning—while contributing through seismic monitoring, data analysis, and clear technical support.

I’m a Geoscientist (Universidad de los Andes) with a definitive professional license (CPG D-8163) and comprehensive training across geosciences, including geochemistry, geophysics, and geodynamics. My work is strongly rooted in seismology and data analysis, and I developed an undergraduate thesis on automatic seismic monitoring using Python and machine learning techniques to support the creation of a seismic catalog.

I complement my geoscience foundation with a Data Science specialization from Universidad de los Andes (Coursera), covering data integration and preparation, predictive models with machine learning, and applied Python for exploratory analysis, statistical validation, and model building. Alongside research, I support learning and outreach through my academic tutor role and science outreach activities, and I bring hands-on field experience as a Topographic Survey Assistant, including total station operation and planimetry—so I can contribute across multidisciplinary geoscience and data teams.
