Alejandro López Peña

I am an engineer with experience in data analysis and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I specialize in transforming information into actionable insights and supporting decision-making through data-driven solutions and generative AI using specialized prompts.

In my current work, I collect, analyze, and manage data across marketing, sales, administration, and production, giving me a comprehensive view of the business. I use Excel, Power BI, MySQL, and Python to automate the capture, storage, and processing of information, optimizing data flows and improving decision-making.

I developed a mathematical model to calculate and optimize production order lead times on the shop floor, strengthening operational scheduling. I also serve as one of the primary administrators of the corporate CRM, ensuring proper functioning and high-quality information, and I act as an internal technology lead, resolving infrastructure and technical support issues.

Previously as a SIG Analyst, I analyzed spatial and topographic data to create maps and geographic models using ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and Google Earth. I supported projects such as map updates, identifying landslide risk areas, and property boundary demarcation, and I’ve also worked as an Academic Advisor for Air Pollution Control.
