What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a healthcare role where I can deliver accurate Spanish-English medical interpretations with HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. I want to grow my medical terminology skills through practical interpreting in a supportive clinical team.

I’m a CCHI-Certified healthcare interpreter transitioning into a full-time Medical Interpreter career, with hands-on experience providing one-on-one and group session interpretations. I focus on active listening, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering culturally sensitive communication for Spanish-primary clients.

I’ve also volunteered as a medical interpreter by facilitating clear communication between clients and staff, ensuring accurate understanding. Currently, I’m pursuing SDSU coursework (200 hours) to strengthen my medical terminology skills, and I bring training in HIPAA compliance, sight translation, CPR/First Aid, and crisis intervention prevention through AALB programs.
