I made a life-changing shift from marketing and brand strategy into healthcare. Over the past five years, I’ve dedicated myself to completing pre-medical coursework and conducting virology research through the Tulsa Area Bioscience Consortium.
I’m especially motivated by patient care, aesthetics, and biomedical science—and I bring creativity and communication skills from marketing into human-centered care. My pre-medical training included microbiology, organic-chemistry I & II, and physiology, alongside scholarship-backed laboratory work.
Through research roles in virology, I focused on RNA mycovirus infecting macrophomina phaseolina, and supported virus detection work in pepper samples. I performed and contributed to experiments including total RNA and DNA extraction, nanodrop quantification, RT-PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis (AGE), and PCR purification, and I presented a research poster to the academic community (July 2022).
Alongside research, I’ve led a small luxury beauty business as CEO and Digital Project Director, growing it with Amazon sales and a regional Start-Up Series Awards pitch. Fluent in English and Portuguese, I’m driven to serve diverse communities, and I’m currently building healthcare shadowing experience to strengthen my patient-care readiness.

• I started Glamitude Beauty in 2018 after researching beauty trends. I have a small line of luxury vegan reusable eyelashes and eyelashes glue. My sales channel is Amazon. In 2019 Glamitude was selected to pitch for a regional Start-Up Series Awards.
• Recipient of the Tulsa Area Bioscience and Research Consortium Scholarship (Summer 2022) for exceptional work in virology research at Dr. Ali Aktar's Virology Lab, Tulsa University, focusing on the study of RNA mycovirus that infects macrophomina phaseolina. Conducted experiments involving the cultivation of mycovirus for total RNA extraction and additionally, engaged in the detection of viruses
• I drove this startup to be the most profitable branch of four. My tasks were planning events, hiring, training, and managing new staff. Often, I presented an educational genetic orientation for senior citizens at living facilities.
Unfortunately, the other three branches didn't go well what made them shut down the business in October of 2019.
