Observed and collaborated with three of the area's top pathologists, completing over 60 hours of hands-on shadowing and professional development. Analyzed slides, interpreted and understood diagnosis for over 200 patients while under instruction from pathologists.

Collaborated with Mori Lab to conduct research for the Columbia Center for Human Development (CCHD)- Pulmonary Allergy & Critical Care Medicine. Conducted interviews and initiated in vivo pulmonary regeneration experiments on fetal cattle.

Performed research on "The Downstream Effects of Bovine Respiratory Disease Complex on Myocardial Gene Expression." Utilized a pulmonary lesion scoring system for tissue samples and prepared bar-coded RNA sequencing libraries.

Gained hands-on experience in analyzing and cloning processes, discovering the minimal number of somatic cells required for successful outcomes. Practiced applications of insemination techniques and hormonal treatments to ensure the health of horses.

Supported various tasks, including collaborating on curriculum, overseeing the prep room for A&P labs, assisting students, and grading written assignments. Authored midterm and final exams, and assessed all lab practicals.

Shadowed Dr. Joaquin Martinez de Arraras and observed over 110 hours of cardiology work involved with numerous procedures. These procedures included valve replacements, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and murmurs.

Expanded the scope of the organization's involvement on campus as the first inaugural female and non-veteran President. Raised over $40,000 through the Military Veterans' Scholarship Ball, endowing the initial scholarship for WTAMU student veterans.

Completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology with an emphasis on molecular genetics. Gained extensive knowledge in research practices, lab safety, research presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
