What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a high-ownership team where I can design event-driven backends on AWS, ship reliable APIs and data pipelines, and keep improving system design for fault tolerance and high availability.

I’m a backend engineer specialising in event-driven systems and cloud-native architecture on AWS, focused on building reliable APIs and data pipelines. I’ve built production pipelines from scratch processing 400,000+ daily events with sub-30-second latency and 100% uptime.

In my role at Locus Elite, I engineered a high-throughput AWS CloudSearch-based pipeline, designed DynamoDB schemas, and wrote all AWS Lambda functions for end-to-end delivery using Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and S3. I also co-owned and maintained 15–20 production microservices at once, with direct accountability to the founding team.

My MSc in Computer Science (Cyber Security) from Heriot-Watt University gives me a security-first mindset that directly informs how I design APIs and cloud systems. I was also recognised as Best Performer — Fresher of the Year 2023, reflecting my high-ownership approach in a fast-moving startup environment.
