What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead teams, manage budgets and timelines, and scale community programs through strong partnerships—while also using my digital media and library systems experience to improve access and workflows.

I’m an Operations Manager at Harris County Public Library, where I interview, hire, train, schedule, coach, and support a staff of up to 27. I consult with my team, peers, and directors to improve workflows and deliver responsive, progressive programming for local stakeholders.

I establish collection and information maintenance SOPs, maintain cybersecurity-trained compliance for government metadata storage, and monitor program performance for staff, community partners, and stakeholders. I design and track project budgets and timelines, manage training for programming and research workflows, and grow impact through mutually beneficial partnerships, fundraising collaboration, and new client relationships.

Earlier in my career, I built strong library fundamentals as a Children’s Librarian at Town of Arlington—developing literacy-focused collections, reference and Readers’ Advisory support, and online event programming. Before that, at MIT I worked in Tangible Acquisitions using library systems and metadata management, preservation processes, and a Zotero database, and I earned an M.S. in Archives Management.
