I’m an entry-level IT & cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, and supporting network environments through practical labs and real-world projects. I bring strong attention to detail and experience working in high-security, ITAR-regulated environments.
I’m CySA+ certified (DoD 8570 IAT Level II) and actively pursuing opportunities in IT support or entry-level IT roles with a long-term focus on cybersecurity. With a Secret (Reinstatement Eligible) clearance status and 800+ hours of hands-on training across 60+ labs, I’m comfortable working in environments that require reliability, documentation, and operational consistency.
In my cybersecurity projects, I’ve built threat-detection and incident-analysis labs focused on Windows security event monitoring and log analysis. I monitored Windows Security Event Logs in Splunk to identify abnormal login behavior, simulated high-volume login attempts, developed queries to improve visibility into performance/access issues, and helped troubleshoot system irregularities by correlating log and network data.
My background also includes hands-on systems and infrastructure work supporting security and access control deployments. At Visionary Systems I supported configuration, validation, and issue resolution in high-security environments; I also installed and troubleshot CCTV, access control, and network-connected systems as a Lead Security Infrastructure Technician, and supported network infrastructure and secure handling of sensitive equipment as an Infrastructure Specialist. I lead with discipline from my U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran experience, where I enforced OPSEC and mission-critical protocols—skills I bring into every troubleshooting and investigation task.
