What I'm looking for

I seek backend or platform roles focusing on scalable cloud-native systems, strong automation/CI-CD, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to mentor while improving reliability and developer experience.

I am a senior backend engineer with 8+ years building and scaling web and cloud systems using Go, Python (Flask/FastAPI), PHP (Laravel), and Ruby on Rails. I focus on API-first design, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD automation across AWS and GCP.

At Carousell I modernized legacy Laravel modules, introduced Python microservices, and helped migrate a monolith to Docker-deployed microservices, improving reliability and observability. At Stripe I developed Go and Rails microservices for billing, added gRPC interfaces to reduce latency, and contributed to multi-region architecture and compliance-aligned releases.

Currently at SpaceX I design Go services for telemetry, build internal APIs enabling predictive maintenance workflows, and led a Terraform-driven CI/CD migration to standardize deployments. I also mentor junior engineers and drive improvements in reliability and observability.
