Rushikesh Salunke

At Capgemini–Allianz Technology, I build and enhance Spring Boot microservices for insurance claims, notifications, and incident management using Java 17, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

I design scalable REST APIs through an OpenAPI-first approach, clean layered architecture, and MapStruct-based DTO mapping. I’ve built Kafka producers and consumers, published CloudEvents, and worked across BFF, EPC middleware, and legacy ABS systems.

I co-led three successful production go-lives, including production and disaster recovery deployments on AWS EKS with CDK8s, HPA, and ArgoCD.

I focus on reliable delivery through Hexagonal Architecture, SOLID principles, automated testing, and production support. I helped raise automated test coverage from 60% to more than 90% using JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing.
