Rosemary Wangui

I’m an adaptable and analytical professional with over three years of experience in U.S. medical billing, claims review, and healthcare customer service. Alongside this, I’ve undergone training to become a virtual assistant and completed intensive software engineering training, gaining a strong foundation in JavaScript, SQL, and web development. I'm passionate about using technology, automation, and data processing to solve real-world problems.

Currently, I serve as a Quality Assurance Analyst at OnQ Kenya Limited, where I review and validate over 80 medical claims daily to ensure accuracy and prevent denials. In my previous role as a Team Leader, I successfully led a team of 15, focusing on mentorship, performance tracking, and upskilling.

As part of my journey into tech, I’ve developed several impactful personal projects:

• FarmMate Agrovet – an online agrovet platform that allows farmers to purchase farming inputs like pesticides, animal feeds, and tools conveniently. It solves the problem of limited access to quality farm products in rural areas.

• PocketFarm – an educational platform that promotes urban farming by teaching practical and sustainable farming methods for city dwellers.

• Ukulima Smart – a web-based solution that connects farmers directly with consumers and transport providers, helping to reduce post-harvest losses and eliminate middlemen in Kenya's food supply chain.

These projects reflect my commitment to building tools that make agricultural and administrative processes more efficient, accessible, and transparent.
