At Florida Department of Health in Escambia County, I manage petroleum restoration projects through their life cycle, from project creation to closure. I evaluate technical documents for compliance with Florida rules and develop training programs and resources for new site managers.
I also conduct site visits and work with team members, engineers, geologists, consultants, and site owners to support assessment and remediation decisions. At the University of Alabama's UMicropaleontology Lab, I studied marine sediment cores, maintained a GIS database of soil sample locations, and assisted with literature reviews and scientific journals.
