Rodrigo Burgos

Over 18 years, I’ve built and secured critical network and IT infrastructure across both public and private environments. I specialize in network administration, information security, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on operational continuity.

In my current role as a Network & Security Analyst, I design, monitor, and maintain municipal network and IT security infrastructure. I harden and manage firewall, VPN, and access policies, while administering Windows/Linux servers and virtualized environments to protect government assets.

Previously, as an IT Support & Services Implementation Specialist, I administered Windows/Linux servers and managed AWS/Azure cloud environments for private-sector clients. I configured and deployed routers, switches, firewalls, proxy and VPN services, and implemented tailored technology solutions across multiple client accounts—always balancing reliability with cost optimization.

I also bring strong support and application administration experience from earlier positions, including user/role management, server administration, and ERP support (SAP ERP and Softland ERP). Now, while completing my Master’s in Big Data and Visual Analytics, I’m expanding my data-driven capabilities to complement my core security and infrastructure strengths.
