What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in finance and administration where I can own bookkeeping to Balance Sheet, manage VAT, run accurate reconciliations and payments, and provide timely reporting—while supporting leadership through efficient communication and strong stakeholder handling.

I’m an Administrative Manager and bookkeeper with long-standing experience across retail and service environments, where accuracy, ownership, and timeous reporting are non-negotiable. I bring a strong finance foundation and the ability to handle complex day-to-day processes without losing attention to detail.

In my current role, I complete full bookkeeping to Balance Sheet, ensure VAT ledger accounts reflect valid claimable VAT inputs, and drive reliable creditor/debtor processes. I manage payment runs and remittance advice, capture transactions accurately on finance systems, and review ageing daily to keep long outstanding items to a minimum.

I’m known for reconciliations that hold up under scrutiny—creditors’ statements reconciled to ledger balances, cash book and bank reconciliations completed, and monthly journals prepared (including depreciation, general journals, and stock adjustment journals). I also support effective decisions through accurate income statement and trial balance handover once month-end is closed.

Beyond core finance, I add operational value through administrative leadership, PA support to the Managing Director (minutes, scheduling, call screening), HR duties (leave processing, bookings), payroll support, marketing logistics (advertising and expo readiness), reception coverage, and stock take control across office/warehouse/workshop. I work with stakeholders confidently, using clear, effective communication to ensure suppliers, debtors, and internal teams stay satisfied.
