What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build secure, high-performance backend services, improve CI/CD and system performance, and contribute to developer tools—ideally with room for impactful security research.

I’m a software engineer who enjoys building secure, high-performance systems and tools that developers can rely on. My background spans embedded development, backend services, and security research—from discovering vulnerabilities to shipping production-ready improvements.

At The Namecoin Project, I found a proxy bypass vulnerability in Brave Browser’s Tor mode and received a bug bounty via HackerOne. I also enhanced performance and security by implementing RPC request support over Unix Domain Sockets and achieved a 20% reduction in domain data size using CBOR; I led Continuous Integration tests across Linux, Windows, and macOS.

Earlier, I built microservices-based data collection pipelines at UnternehmerTUM (SAP) using AWS, Python, and Selenium—reducing AWS costs by 20% by processing data in real time. I engineered SocksTrace at The Tor Project (an open-source proxy leak detector) and created user-facing systems like a dynamic pricing module with automated testing using Jest and Playwright, alongside reusable React component libraries.

Software Engineer

The Namecoin Project

Apr 2023 - Present (3 years 2 months)

Identified a proxy-bypass vulnerability in Brave Browser Tor mode and received a bug bounty via HackerOne. Implemented RPC support over Unix Domain Sockets and introduced CBOR storage, reducing domain data size by 20%. Led CI test implementation across Linux, Windows, and macOS to strengthen production security and performance.

US

Software Engineer Intern

UnternehmerTUM (SAP)

Sep 2023 - Nov 2023 (2 months)

Built and deployed automated data-collection pipelines as microservices using AWS and Python with Selenium. Improved analysis efficiency by converting complex analyzers into API endpoints in collaboration with the AI team, and reduced AWS costs by 20% by processing data in real time instead of storing in S3 buckets.

TP

Software Engineer Intern

The Tor Project

Dec 2022 - Apr 2023 (4 months)

Engineered SocksTrace, an open-source proxy leak detector used by developers to secure Namecoin and Tor ecosystems. Developed using Golang, C, and Shell and resolved a critical upstream strace issue to enable tracing and analysis for large-scale applications like web browsers.

PI

Software Engineer Intern

PineBerry

Jul 2022 - Oct 2022 (3 months)

Built a dynamic pricing system with customizable templates and streamlined user payment monitoring. Wrote extensive unit and end-to-end UI tests with Jest and Playwright, and authored a reusable library of React components with a focus on accessibility.
