At VKC Group, I led technology for a 150+ restaurant franchise group across Texas, Colorado and New Mexico. I moved the business from spreadsheets to a custom LAMP-stack MIS/ERP that became its operating backbone, covering store performance, payroll, cash flow and Sage accounting integration.
Since acquiring and operating a multi-unit franchise portfolio at Private Franchise Holdings, I’ve directed AI coding agents to deliver its operations platform. It supports onboarding and I-9 compliance, payroll review, cash reconciliation, accounts payable and document intake, with code review, testing and release gates.
At Private Franchise Holdings, I also automated back-office workflows across locations and own the technology stack, from infrastructure and networking to security and vendor integrations. At Rising Sail, I lead a private investment company focused on commercial real estate and principal investing.
My technical initiatives include optimizing an open-source C++/OpenGL game engine, rebuilding firmware for Wi-Fi access points and an embedded ARM device, and developing an on-prem computer-vision pipeline. I deliver these systems by directing AI coding agents, with my review and decision at each gate.
