At Finance Corporation Ltd (FinCorp), I’m responsible for the strategic direction, growth, profitability and operational performance of the national unsecured lending business. I’m accountable for a K104 million portfolio and annual lending targets exceeding K72.2 million.
I expanded FinCorp’s national lending footprint from zero to eight satellite branches and established 14 new strategic payroll and lending partnerships. I also created the company’s first Regional Sales Manager structure and helped design and implement the FinCorp Unsecured Lending Academy.
At Nedbank Limited, I managed a KwaZulu-Natal unsecured lending portfolio exceeding R600 million and led the commercialization and rollout of its unsecured lending API platform. I integrated Cashbuild, BoxerBuild and BUCO into Nedbank’s lending ecosystem, and negotiated a partnership with AfriForum that provided access to more than 600,000 members.
Earlier, at African Bank Investments Limited, I built the bank’s largest unsecured lending region, with a portfolio exceeding R125 million, and managed regional branch operations. Before that, I worked in law enforcement and specialized tactical operations with the South African Police Service Flying Squad.
