Ramón Barba Castro

I’m a public affairs and legal professional with a strong background in EU policy, advocacy and institutional relations. I combine academic training in Law and International Relations with hands-on experience in legislative monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication—bringing solid analytical thinking and a structured approach to regulatory environments.

Currently, I’m a Policy Assistant at ARCA Consortium, where I lead institutional representation of Spanish companies in Belgium and manage EU- and internationally funded public contracts. Previously, as Regional Director of Advocacy at World Youth Alliance Europe, I developed an operational advocacy plan, monitored European legislation, supported Members of the European Parliament and the United Nations, and led media communication, seminars, and event development for interns and teams.
