I am a MSW-trained professional social worker and counselor with experience supporting women, children, and families through the National Health Mission (NHM) program focused on family planning, immunization, and adolescent health.
As an RMNCH+A Counselor in Assam, I provided counseling and ensured pre- and post-medical services for pregnant women, lactating mothers, married couples, and school children and adolescents. I also supported family planning incentive services, along with remedial services involving cash benefits.
I bring an administrative and communication mindset to the field—offering administrative support, leading mass sensitization, and training grassroot level health workers. I regularly worked as an interpersonal liaison to solve problems and address aspiration points through research and planning.
I am research oriented, using tools such as SPSS and NVIVO to analyze indicators, and I have published and presented papers on school social work practice and its relevance in India. I also completed psychiatric social work training at NIMHANS, and I remain committed to ethical, community-centered impact.
