What I'm looking for

I seek a role where I can further advocate for women's rights and community development, ideally in a collaborative environment that values social justice and empowerment.

With nearly a decade of experience in community development and women's rights advocacy, I have dedicated my career to empowering marginalized groups and promoting social justice. My professional journey includes significant roles at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Jammu and Kashmir and the Institute for Social Democracy in New Delhi, where I have honed my skills in case management, counseling, and project coordination.

At TISS, I managed affairs with the Police Department to ensure the smooth functioning of the Special Cell for Women, providing essential support to survivors of domestic violence and linking them to various government schemes. My work involved raising awareness among women about their rights and laws, conducting training programs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance community safety and development.

As a Program Associate at the Institute for Social Democracy, I contributed to the publication unit, focusing on writing, editing, and reporting. I facilitated training sessions for stakeholders and volunteers, enhancing their understanding of social justice concepts. My commitment to social work is driven by a profound desire to create positive change in society, particularly in the areas of women's rights and cultural heritage.
