I've supported patients, bystanders, and healthcare professionals through medical and psychiatric social work placements at Ananthapuri Hospitals & Research Institute and AIMS Hospital.
During psychiatric fieldwork, I assisted with patient assessment and observation while building communication, empathy, rapport-building, and case-handling skills. I also worked with a psychologist at Arsha International Model School to support student behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social participation.
My community and rural fieldwork has included grassroots development, stakeholder engagement, community analysis, field assessments, programme planning, and research reporting. I also contributed to a Kerala study on depression among children in care institutions using PHQ-9, data analysis, and SPSS.
