As a Psycho-Social School Counsellor with the Department of Women and Child - Government of Kerala, I supported students through psychosocial assessment and school social work.
I provided individual, group, student-parent, and family counselling, and worked with students and families on psychosocial, behavioural, family, and academic concerns.
I planned awareness, sensitization, and life skills programmes, and coordinated student-focused programmes. My work also included case documentation, reporting, follow-up, and record management.
Earlier, as a Counsellor at the Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (Govt. Medical College Kollam), I provided HIV pre-test and post-test counselling, risk assessment, and follow-up counselling. At Chaithanya Eye Hospital, Kollam, I worked in patient relations, financial counselling, health insurance desk activities, and hospital administration.
