What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote-friendly role where I can design end-to-end GCP data platforms, lead ETL/ELT and enterprise migrations, and deliver measurable outcomes—cost reduction, reliability, and self-service data experiences.

I’m a Data Architect and Senior Data Engineer with 15+ years in software development and 7+ years of GCP experience, including Google Cloud certifications (obtained in 2019). I build end-to-end, cloud-native data platforms with a focus on ETL/ELT architecture, streaming and batch ingestion, and enterprise migrations.

At Freecast Inc., I served as the sole platform architect, redesigning the GCP platform from $19k to $8k per month—an infrastructure cost reduction of 58%. I led streaming ingestion with Apigee X, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery, and implemented batch ingestion with Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Workflows, and Python-based transformations into Bronze/Silver/Gold zones using BigQuery medallion patterns.

I also deliver business-ready systems beyond pipelines: I launched an internal Data Marketplace via AppSheet, integrated Google Dataplex for data profiling and quality enforcement, and automated secure reporting with Cloud Functions and Storage Signed URLs. Earlier consulting work included large-scale GCP migrations for tier-1 banks and mission-critical API Gateway architecture for government services, with strong governance using OpenAPI/Swagger, reproducible deployments via Terraform/Terragrunt, and reliable orchestration.
