I’m an Events and Engagement Specialist with over 15 years of experience delivering high-impact global convenings, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and strategic event activations across Africa and international platforms. I translate events into measurable organizational outcomes—improving brand visibility, strengthening partnerships, and advancing advocacy objectives.

Since September 2023, as an International Relations & Events Manager at the Communications Authority of Kenya, I lead the strategic planning and execution of 50+ high-level international and regional events annually. I manage an institutional events and engagement calendar, coordinate senior leadership positioning through curated meetings, speaking opportunities, and targeted stakeholder engagement, and oversee end-to-end logistics.

I’ve built lasting relationships with international event organizers and multilateral partners, securing high-value engagement opportunities that enhance influence in global policy and development spaces. I also develop executive toolkits, briefing notes, and engagement plans, and I introduced event performance tracking and reporting mechanisms to improve delivery and ROI.

Earlier, I served as a Senior Events Coordination Officer and Stakeholder Relations Officer at the same organization, directing 80+ events per year and coordinating 50+ stakeholder engagement events annually. I strengthened internal event processes with standardized planning tools, managed budgets and vendor relationships under tight timelines, and contributed to successful international lobbying campaigns, including Kenya’s re-election to global ICT councils for the 2022–2025 cycle.
