What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a leadership role where I can own brand repositioning and route-to-market, write executive thought leadership, and scale AI-augmented content operations—while aligning founders, boards and partners across complex, high-stakes decisions.

I’m a strategist, producer and writer with fifteen-plus years turning creative products and institutional ideas into market outcomes across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the wider region. My market judgement is anthropology-backed—positioning starts from studied readings of audience demographics, cultural codes and what a specific market actually wants.

I’ve driven results from development through release, including ideated and co-produced work that delivered a MYR 14M theatrical run for PUSAKA, and a portfolio of seven features produced. Two films I produced were acquired by Netflix, and TERBAIK DARI LANGIT / NOVA won ASEAN / AIFFA Best Film; I also managed MYR 25M in creative-industry investment and secured and managed MYR 10M+ in financing across creative-industry and film projects.

In my current role as Director, Strategic Content and Communications, I lead brand repositioning end to end—new positioning, messaging architecture, and complete copy systems—while managing sign-off across Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. I built and ran go-to-market for the institute’s first direct-to-consumer programme and designed the AI-augmented content operation behind its publishing output, using codified editorial standards and human review gates to keep editorial judgement and voice control human; across the career, I’ve been trusted to align founders, boards, sovereign-fund investment committees, government agencies, philanthropic patrons and creative talent.
