Precious Okpara

At Horizontal Union, I work as a Chinese-English translator, supporting translation and office work.

At Atlantic Super Aluminium Ltd, I translated between Chinese and English in writing and basic conversation. I helped Chinese employees and English speakers communicate about daily work and pass along work arrangements and related information.

I became familiar with some specialized vocabulary from the footwear manufacturing industry and helped address everyday language communication issues. I also received an award for being an excellent translator at a previous company.

I’m studying Chinese at 厦门大学（翔安校区） and have intermediate Chinese proficiency, with a Chinese proficiency level of 5. I’m seeking remote language work where I can support Chinese-English translation, language services, editing, or AI-related language work.
