What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and modernize high-impact cloud platforms, distributed systems, and AI-powered products while leading technical direction, mentoring engineers, and improving delivery reliability through automation and strong engineering practices.

I've built enterprise platforms and customer-facing products for Fidelity Investments, Mattel, Realtor.com, and West Virginia University. At Fidelity, I tech-led a Java 17/Spring Boot, React, AWS, and Elasticsearch CMS platform, migrated a legacy Tridion system, and onboarded about 40 internal teams.

At Mattel, I productionized ML/AI search and recommendation models in Java/Spring Boot services, improved Elasticsearch response times by about 60%, and helped transform a monolith into microservices supporting millions of users. I also built Kafka, PySpark, and Airflow pipelines supporting recommendation models across 10+ products and reduced MTTR by about 40% through observability dashboards.

I enjoy modernizing systems end to end—from architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD to testing and production operations.
