What I'm looking for

A remote design lead or senior product design role at a product company where design has a real seat at the table. I want to lead and mentor a small team, own the design system, and still do hands-on work. I’m happy working with US, European or Australian teams and can overlap with their hours from India.

I’m a design lead with 11+ years in UI/UX across B2B SaaS, fintech, health-tech and proptech. I lead designers, own the design function end to end, and set the quality bar the work is held to. I also ship production code in React, TypeScript and Next.js, so nothing gets lost at handoff.

Right now I’m Co-Founder and Design Lead at Akaro (akaro.app), a workflow platform for architects and interior designers. I lead two designers with daily syncs and critique, and I built the brand, the design system and the AI task flows. I also lead product design for sellcre.ai at Gorin Systems, an AI platform for US commercial real estate brokers, where I run weekly sprint planning and stakeholder reviews.

Before that I built and governed the design system at Cendas in Germany, and ran my own practice for 7 years, shipping 50+ products for clients in Australia, Europe and the US.

I’m looking for remote design lead, head of design or senior product design roles where I can lead a team and still stay close to the work.
