At Synchrony, I architect and develop cloud-native backend services for customer-facing financial platforms using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and AWS. I also modernize legacy applications into scalable microservices and design event-driven workflows with Kafka and SQS.
I build API ecosystems with GraphQL and REST, including OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT authentication. I’ve also developed React and TypeScript interfaces integrated with those APIs.
At NextGen Healthcare, I developed PBM and clinical data applications, including FHIR and HL7 integration services and HIPAA-compliant APIs. I also built healthcare data pipelines and worked on real-time clinical event processing with Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
Earlier, I developed transaction-processing and account-management services at Capital One, and airline reservation, ticketing, and operational applications at American Airlines. Across these roles, I’ve worked on distributed systems, production reliability, and automated testing and delivery.
