At RELX India (Elsevier), I supported Open Access business initiatives and led operational delivery, including journal onboarding, workflow governance, and publishing agreement implementation. I launched 24 new journals and streamlined launch workflows.
As Senior Journal Manager – Research Content Operations, I managed strategic journal portfolios and end-to-end journal operations. I helped reduce average manuscript turnaround time from 110 to 90 days and improved time-to-first-decision by 18 days across a portfolio of 25 journals.
I also mentored colleagues, created and delivered training, and collaborated with Product Management on workflow improvements and system enhancements. After a maternity break, I’m returning to the workforce with a focus on data-driven workflows, collaboration tools, and AI-assisted productivity.
