Phello Jiyane

At THE SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR, I work as a Professional Performer — Singer & Dancer in a professional international organisation. I collaborate with performers, management, production teams, and external stakeholders to meet schedules and performance requirements.

My work includes communicating across countries and cultures, adapting to changing schedules and travel arrangements, and representing the organisation professionally during local and international engagements.

In professional theatre and performing arts, I have taken lead and supporting roles in productions and performed at international festivals. I work with directors, choreographers, producers, performers, and production teams, learning scripts and choreography within deadlines.

I completed a Project Management Certificate in November 2025. I'm currently developing practical skills in Microsoft Excel and payroll administration, including PAYE, UIF and SDL fundamentals, payroll calculations, payslip administration, and employee information management.
