I am a dedicated biology graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on research experience at Clemson University, where I worked as a Research Assistant. My primary focus was on data collection and analysis of single-molecule Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (smFRET) experiments, which deepened my understanding of DNA repair mechanisms and fostered collaboration across multidisciplinary research groups.

Throughout my research career, I have developed a robust skill set in wet laboratory techniques, including gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, and quantitative liquid chromatography. I am also proficient in programming with Python, which I learned through a course at the University of Michigan. My commitment to continuous learning is evident through various certifications, including training in RNA sequencing and molecular biophysics.

In addition to my research experience, I have worked in various roles that have honed my interpersonal and organizational skills. As a Care Provider, I provided essential health care assistance to senior patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. My experience as a Learning Center Receptionist allowed me to develop strong customer service skills while managing administrative tasks effectively.
