What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply data science to neurobiological research—building reproducible workflows, analyzing longitudinal biomarkers, and translating complex results into clear, data-driven decisions.

I’m a detail-oriented research professional currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Texas Tech University, with hands-on experience in neurobiology and data analysis. My background pairs neurobiological methods with quantitative biomarker analysis to support research decision-making.

In my roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, I optimized and executed immunohistochemistry protocols, performed precise fly brain dissections, and acquired and analyzed confocal microscopy images using ImageJ. I also developed reproducible analytical workflows—using R, Excel, and Minitab to clean and interpret complex longitudinal datasets and quantify immunoreactivity with consistency and reproducibility.

Beyond research, I bring operational precision from clinical roles, including maintaining HIPAA compliance, managing scheduling, and working with EMR systems in fast-paced settings. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English, and I enjoy mentoring others while using data-driven insights to translate results into clear scientific communication.
