At Texas A&M University, I led a research project characterizing how engineered uterine myometrial tissue responds to pharmacological stimuli to inform therapy development. I prepared and troubleshot systems combining biological and mechanical instrumentation, and collaborated with a surgeon partner on human tissue research.
At New Mexico State University, I mapped metabolic changes in breast cancer drug resistance using flow cytometry and developed MATLAB code that reduced data processing time by 10x. I’ve also trained lab members in device operation and sterile technique, and presented research findings at conferences.
