My name is Pedro Amaral, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Systems at NOVA IMS. With a strong foundation in Geography and a specialization in Cartography, I am passionate about utilizing technology to analyze and visualize spatial data. My academic journey has equipped me with the skills necessary to tackle complex geographical challenges.

Throughout my education, I have actively engaged in various volunteer initiatives, including working with the European Parliament and local municipalities. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams. I have also developed technical skills in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS, as well as programming languages like Python and C++. My goal is to leverage these skills in a professional setting to contribute to impactful projects that enhance community engagement and sustainability.
