What I'm looking for

I'm looking to contribute to research and teaching focused on malaria, infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics, microbial genomics, and public health in sub-Saharan Africa.

I'm an Assistant Lecturer at Wisconsin International University College in Kumasi, where I teach microbiology, medical genetics, anatomy and physiology, and supervise undergraduate research projects.

My research focuses on host genetic susceptibility to malaria, molecular diagnostics, microbial genomics, and immunogenetics of infectious diseases. At Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, I supported malaria susceptibility research through blood sample collection, DNA extraction, PCR, RFLP analysis, gel electrophoresis, sequencing, molecular data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

I'm a co-author of a 2022 Genetic Research publication on TNF-alpha, MBL2, NOS2, G6PD, and malaria outcomes in Southern Ghana, and I have presented malaria research at the MIM Conference and the EDCTP Forum.
