At Kumasi Centre for collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine, I work as a Research Assistant on the ongoing Skin neglected tropical disease- SKIN NTD project.
My research includes molecular characterisation of Klebsiella spp, Pseudomonas spp, and Escherichia spp in Buruli Ulcer patients in Ghana. My 2026 publication reports molecular characterisation of Pseudomonas species isolated from Buruli ulcer lesions.
From 2016 to 2022, I worked as a Research Assistant at the same centre on KCCR COVID-19 testing, Re-ACT, the Malaria birth Cohort, and MAP2Co. I was also Team lead for the Covid-19 Traveller’s project from September 2020 to July 2022.
I’m a PhD candidate in Microbiology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, with an MPhil in Parasitology. My research skills include PCR, Next generation Sequencing, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, microbiology, and statistical analysis using SPSS and Graph pad.
