What I'm looking for

I am seeking an entry-level research or teaching role in molecular biology with hands-on lab work, mentorship, collaborative teams, and opportunities to grow skills in genetics, biochemical assays, and data analysis.

I am a dedicated molecular biologist with a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (GPA 3.6) and one year of teaching and research experience. I completed a thesis evaluating the physiological and biochemical characteristics of five UCC elite Striga-resistant cowpea varieties and helped train students in plant DNA extraction and gel electrophoresis.

I have hands-on laboratory experience in DNA and RNA extraction, protein extraction, hemoglobin electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, microscopy, rapid diagnostic tests, and microbial culturing from internship and research assistant roles. I enjoy mentoring undergraduates, developing tailored lesson plans, and collaborating on research to advance understanding in genetics and biochemical processes.
