@ozgeduman
Computational scientist at Boğaziçi University who analyzed 30 activation pathways across 25 Class A GPCRs and co-authored two publications.
What I'm looking for
At Boğaziçi University, I developed Python workflows to process protein structural data, compare conformational ensembles, and study how structure, dynamics, and function relate.
I investigated 30 activation pathways across 25 Class A GPCRs using computational modelling and quantitative analysis. I managed scientific computing workflows in Linux/HPC environments and shared results through figures, reports, publications, and presentations.
On a concurrent NATO Science for Peace and Security project, I applied Gaussian Network Models and Transfer Entropy to map allosteric communication in bacterial manganese ABC transporters. I collaborated with experimental researchers to connect computational predictions with functional measurements, including testing ten point mutations.
I co-authored two peer-reviewed publications in 2025, in Protein Science and the Journal of Molecular Biology. I also contribute to research proposals and project reports, and support students with computational methods and data analysis.
