Cem Nurlu
@cemnurlu
Master's student specializing in quantum computing and data analysis.
What I'm looking for
I am a Master's student at TU Delft, specializing in Applied Physics with a focus on quantum devices and quantum computing. My research at QuTech involves the design, nanofabrication, and experimental analysis of semiconductor-superconductor hybrid structures aimed at realizing topologically protected qubits. I have a strong foundation in data science, having worked as a Data Scientist Intern where I extracted and analyzed large time series data to optimize resources for large-scale companies.
Previously, I contributed to earthquake detection research at Boğaziçi University, utilizing machine learning techniques for time series analysis and feature extraction. My leadership experience includes co-founding the QTurkey Quantum Student Branch, where I organized workshops and mentored new researchers in machine learning methods. I have also been recognized for my contributions to quantum computing, winning awards for my presentations and publications in international conferences.
