Dedicated Family Support Specialist applying evidence-based behavior and recovery support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Dedicated Family Support Specialist with over three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. I focus on client-centered care, safety, and measurable progress through consistent behavior management, direct support, and careful documentation.
In my roles, I’ve provided crisis intervention and de-escalation, monitored behaviors and medication response, and coordinated care to align with therapeutic goals. I work to maintain professional boundaries while delivering emotional support, and I partner with families and healthcare providers to strengthen support systems.
Alongside my professional work, I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in neuroscience and behavior, plus a minor in criminology. I’m also bringing addictions-focused counseling experience—facilitating group therapy and providing individual counseling to help clients build coping strategies and achievable recovery goals, using evidence-based practices to improve both individual and organizational well-being.
