What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver ABA-based behavior support and compassionate in-home care, using data and safe de-escalation. I also want to keep building toward professional counseling practice and evidence-based treatment planning.

I’m a dedicated care professional and behavior support specialist who helps clients and families feel supported day to day. Since March 2020, I’ve provided in-home support to clients with developmental disabilities, supporting daily living activities, monitoring well-being, and encouraging medication adherence.

In my most recent role as a Behavior Technician (July 2025 to January 2026), I implemented individualized treatment plans using ABA techniques. I collected behavioral data, documented progress, used de-escalation techniques when needed, and communicated updates with my clinical team and clients’ families.

Before that, I provided home care through In Home Support Services (IHSS) from February 2021 to May 2025 for an elderly client. I supported activities of daily living, assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and mobility, and I offered companionship, emotional support, and appointment reminders.

Now, I’m expanding my impact through education in Substance Use Counseling (Master of Science) at Grand Canyon University (February 2026 to present), intensively learning evidence-based counseling approaches, mental health assessments, case management, ethics, cultural competency, and treatment planning. I also hold CPR and RBT Certification, strengthening my ability to support clients safely while staying grounded in clinical, data-informed care.
